FrontPage Quick Start

What is FrontPage?

FrontPage is Microsoft's web authoring software.

How do I access FrontPage?

On the RBHS system, you can reach FrontPage by selecting it from the "Microsoft" menu of the Novell Application Launcher.

Why would I use FrontPage in a classroom?

FrontPage is fairly intuitive for web design software.  Teachers can use it to develop their own personal pages, WebQuests, and school curriculum pages.

Moreover, FrontPage is easy enough to use that it can be adapted fairly quickly for student publications.  Instead of writing an essay in "isolation", students can create web pages that link to outside research and to one another's pages.
