What is Publisher?
Microsoft Publisher is software designed to (no
surprise) aid in desktop publishing. Its features focus around the
creation of magazines, newspapers, newsletters, fliers, posters and
brochures.
How do I access Publisher?
On the RBHS system, you can reach Pubisher by
selected it from the "Microsoft" menu of the Novell Application Launcher.
Why would I use Publisher in a classroom?
Students access information in a variety of ways
- traditional word processing being only one of them. Publisher
allows you to mimic the content of magazines and newspapers.
Publisher also lends itself more easily to the
inclusion of graphic elements with writing than a traditional word
processing program.
