Showcase a Dancer or Choreographer

Congratulations! You have been awarded to showcase a dancer or
choreographer of your choice. This pamphlet will be handed out to
thousands of artists alike and audience members prior to a performance
to honor this artist. It is your job to highlight the choreographer's
or dancer's life including: birth, death, history of the artist, talents,
achievements, awards, and anything else you may find interesting to its
reader. Include the information below using a three fold publicity
flyer. You will use Publisher 98. Good luck and once again,
Congratulations!
1. Name of Artist
2. Birth and Death if relevant
3. What style of dance is the dancer or choreographer know for performing
or creating? Name two dance roles or dances choreographed by the
artist.
4. Background/ History of the Artist (i.e. birthplace, childhood exposure
to dance)
5. History of Training- Name of School(s), workshops/seminars, location
of the school, levels, years of study
6. Scholarships, Awards and/or Achievements granted and/or certain
roles performed
7. Currently- What is this artist doing now? What dance company
is this artist currently working with? Does this artist teach?
8. Highlight- include a quote from a magazine or newspaper highlighting
the dancer or choreographer
9. Images- Be sure to include six images (not clipart) of the artist
and/or work related to the artist in your pamphlet
10. Other- include anything else you feel may be interesting or exciting
to the reader
